Copyright is right that protects a creator's work and determines what people can do with it. The person that own the photo is the person that takes the photo. For the watermark I put my initials  to show that the work belongs to me and I used some crossed lines so it is not just my initials for the watermark. I will not be using the watermark because I don't think the image looks as nice with it.
